In this tumultuous world, there are always too many shackles and unresolved mysteries. I often feel trapped in darkness, powerless to cross mountains or seas. In the gloom, I walk alone, guided by faint glimmers of light, hoping to emerge from the mountains and see the sea. I employ various objects and scenes to symbolize my inner world. Light—all visible things are merely reflections of light. Humans and animals generally gravitate toward brightness, and many insects exhibit phototaxis. In my work, light signifies guidance and convergence. Sea, water. (Obstacles) Mountains—symbolize barriers and deep confusion.
